How I Met Your Mother

The HIMYM theme song mixed with the Super Mario Bros. theme song was my ringtone for the longest and now I only make it the ringtone for specific people. HIMYM is like my version of Friends to some people. I’ve never fully watched Friends and I think it’s because HIMYM is already my favorite and if I feel the need to have a show on, it usually is this one.

I remember this one from childhood; shouts out to my aunt. It’s just a good one. I don’t come back to this one as often as I do HIMYM just because I really sit down to watch each episode with my most attention and it’s a show that you do want to pay attention to. I was going to say that Leyton is my favorite, but then I thought about Naley and… they just make it and you see it until the end of the show. Though Leyton will always have a piece of my heart, Naley is stronger.

One Tree Hill

Gold star. Another good show I like to revisit! RIP to the OGS. If I am in a super singing mood, catch me singing this. I remember my cousins and I playing Glee Karaoke on the Wii and this song was my favorite to sing. Also, if I ever need a song to cry to: those Finn songs just hit the SPOT.

Glee

This is a show that I really want to rewatch. I think there was a lot that I didn’t get to digest the first time I watched it. I just think there’s some good messages in here that I want to bask in for a bit longer than I did before.

Arcane

I don’t want to say that I really enjoyed this show - because I did - I just have this show connected with a specific person and time in my life and that’s something that I don’t want to linger on. I want to be able to rewrite that story in my brain about it being connected to that person, but the show just fits so well with the time in my life with that person and I think that is what makes it beautiful. It’s a good show, I just made it too symbolic of that time lol.

Cyberpunk

Another gr8 show that I was just thinking about. The concept is wild, but I love it and I need to rewatch this one again. I watched this show when I was recovering from my tonsillectomy.

Honestly the first Jim Carrey movie I watched and my favorite Jim Carrey movie. When someone asks me my favorite movie, this is the movie I say. When Ariana Grande came out with her album in reference to this movie, it’s was a delightful time in my life, all of the parallels were there in every which way.

I was Mitchie. The first 2 are classics for sure, the 3rd one is really just for the nostalgic vibes. Camp Rock 3 had some really good songs not gonna lie lol; this one was my fave.

As good as it was, I’ve only watched the entire show once and that’s because I feel like rewatching it is overkill. I would watch it at night and get nightmares after, so that may also play a part in me not wanting to rewatch it lol. I did watch some of Better Call Saul, though, and I did enjoy watching it, but I just haven’t finished it.

Breaking Bad

This movie - I don’t even know what to say about it, it just gives me the feels every time I watch it. I feel like it’s a hidden gem.

Starstruck

Retsuko is also me. I love Tadano though. In another universe, she and Tadano are together. I like that universe.

Aggretsuko

I’ve only seen snippets of The Big Bang Theory, it never really interested me enough to watch it even after watching Young Sheldon. I really enjoyed watching this one, it was a show I found on my own. I haven’t started it, but I do want to watch Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage eventually.

Young Sheldon

I was exposed to Steven Universe after my therapist showed me this song. Even years after this song became a mantra to me and I got a butterfly tattoo because of this song, I still hadn’t fully watched Steven Universe. The song was the beginning to my mindfulness/meditative practices. Then I watched the entire series after it had been years since it ended and I enjoyed it. I think it’s just a silly little cartoon.

The Amazing Digital Circus

If you see me in a Jax bonnet, with a Jax hoodie, and a Jax mug, with a Jax backpack or repping TADC merch... this is why. You’d only see me with the first 3 things at a comfortable state, usually at home, so you probably won’t ever see me in those things, but the point is: I am a fan of TADC. I couldn’t get into the other Glitch shows, but TADC has a piece of my heart. I think it’s just because it grew as I grew, meaning I would watch an episode and continue on with my life and then another episode would come out and so on until I watched the finale at AMC. It was bittersweet.

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

A classic. I love chocolate.

Edward Scissorhands

I remember this movie being my favorite as a kid. It was just so peculiar it was captivating.

Such a gr8 movie. Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore make me want to have 50 first dates.
