About ME
I am a 24 year old young lady lol. I have 2 dogs and 2 frogs. I am creative and blah blah blah…
Honestly, I have this thing with age. I like seeing how old somebody is, but I also kinda h8 (hate) finding out how old somebody is. This polarity mostly stems from the habit of comparing oneself to another. I find comfort in finding out that an older person still has lots to learn and doesn’t have everything figured out, yet I feel bad when I find out that someone younger than me has it more “figured out” than where I am in life. I’ve been learning to “love myself now” *winks with tongue out* and accept the time line that I am on and not compare myself to others’ timelines and whatnot and I hope that you do the same after finding out how old I am lol.
If you’re also 24 and have no idea what you’re doing with your life, welcome! I hope that you find comfort in knowing that you are not alone and I also have no idea what I’m doing, either!

I want to create something that I can look back at and be proud of, specifically in a place that can be open for anyone to discover. For a while, I thought that making YouTube videos might be the thing, but it’s been years and it has not been it.
I came across a website and later another one that really solidified my want to create my own website. You can read more about that experience here.

I want this site to be something that I work on that energizes me to become a better version of myself. I love journaling and I am going to use this space as another way to journal. Along the way, I hope that you, the one reading this, finds this space to discover more about me, who I am, and what I can create on this floating space rock. I also hope that you find some sort of inspiration to not only consume what I cre8 (create), but to also create something that is meaningful for you in this life as well.

My Logo
It’s a flower with a ‘J’ in it lol
Honestly, in part, I owe the flower design to my sister. One day - I’m pretty sure I was in 6th grade - I found this envelope (? I think it was an envelope lol, if not a paper) and she had drawn these flowers all over the envelope in a rainbow gradient and I really really liked it, so I started drawing those flowers. So, thanks ate lol
BUT ALSO, shout outs to my uncle, because he also plays a part here. When I was younger - elementary school age for sure (maybe before I was 8 years old?) - my uncle had had gotten me acrylic paints and all the supplies to paint. He has always been supportive in my creative endeavors or what not, so he bought me lots of things, most likely hoping I’d become the next Bob Ross, so I began painting. As I painted, I began figuring out my signature, you know, the mark that you put in the corner of the canvas. Eventually I came up with the idea of my signature not being my name but instead a little flower in the corner. So, thanks uncle for helping that idea bloom inside of me. Thanks for also keeping an original Jadalyn artwork hung in your room. I remember painting that cross over and over and eventually it became what it is now. I remember being so done with trying to paint that cross. That’s how I learned that maybe instead of trying to make it perfect and keep adding to try to make it look better or even or straight or whatever, to just let it be. And I let it be… A lot of corrections later, but I let it be. I think I might still be a little hypercritical about it lol… ANYWAYS, my logo: it’s a flower with a ‘J’ in it.
Believe it or not, I had a different version of this logo. The J was an actual cursive J with the loops and all. I did enjoy that version and soon after creating it, got it tattooed on me, but just sitting with the fact that I no longer write my J in cursive how I did in that old logo bothered me. The ‘J’ that I have in this logo now is how I write my J’s in real life, so it seemed more fitting even though the other one was more clever and was in flow with the flower. I still like both, but this one fits Jadalyn now.
