Books/Journals that help me cre8:

I’ve been using this journal since February 25, 2021. It has to be my favorite guided journal, so far. It doesn’t have too many prompts to be answered that make me feel like it’s overwhelming to complete. It gets my head right and ready to start whatever I need to.

This journal makes you do more things (more prompts to answer and things to think about). I also really enjoy this journal. I printed out a wheel of emotions that I keep inside this journal to help with one of the prompts. Now, I keep this journal in my car, not gonna lie, and I complete an entry whenever I have time in the day to do so (if I’m not already journaling in my phone or elsewhere). Though it says daily, it’s not one that I actually do daily.. more like weekly or monthly LOL (I have too many journals).

This book is not a book I open a lot, but one that I’ve learned from and apply to my daily life. I use the daily warm up that is in this book all the time. At the beginning of a workout or at the end of the day: this is the flow that I use 100%. This book definitely helps to create different yoga flows.

Bought this book after a break-up; didn’t finish it until one night I couldn’t sleep and what felt like a lifetime afterwards. Easily became my favorite book. It hit the spot after what I had gone through and where I was at that point in life. I got page 61 tattooed on me. It’s all about the journey, baby.

The vibrancy from this book - it makes me fall in love with watercolor every page I turn. I had to get this once I saw that there was a new addition. 100% going to read this to my kids. Definitely a book that can help you become inspired to create.

I use something that I’ve learned in this book every time I make a to-do list. Every time. I honestly didn’t even remember where I learned the ABCDE method because it became a habit. I had to look up where the ABCDE method was from and lo and behold: it was from this book. If you want to know what the ABCDE method is, READ THIS BOOK. It’s such a short read and has been so helpful in my life. I don’t think you can go wrong with reading this book.

Many many journal prompts in this one here. Haven’t finished the whole book, yet.

The art and the content. Cam also includes journal prompts sprinkled in and those are very helpful! There are so many that I would love to come back to.

There’s a trend with me reading the second book before the first lol. I read this book before reading Your Head Is A Houseboat and after reading both, this one is my favorite from the two. Again, the artwork, the content, the creativity, the journal prompts. Love it.

I really enjoyed this read, especially before bed! The visuals are so cute and honestly, they helped me understand the concept of “you are not your thoughts” so much more than others just telling me that I am not my thoughts. That was my key takeaway from the book because the visuals really helped me understand the phrase that others would say or tell me. The other stuff is also helpful, but just a reminder of what I already knew or have come across before. Still a gr8 read and I will have my own copy of this book someday (I checked it out from the library and went to book club for it). I think meditation allows you to create space to cre8 and the art work featured in this book is so simple yet effective. Taking in the content in this book could be a good place where you can start to create.
