Other things that help me cre8:
I owe my knowledge of crocheting to the Woobles. I bought a crotchet kit from Five Below, had no idea what the hell the instructions meant, Googled how to do each step, watched YouTube videos to figure out how to start and then I remembered my cousin telling me about the Woobles. I started the Five Below kit, then bought Walter the Bear, completed Walter and then returned to finish the kit and everything was easier to follow. If you’re new to crocheting: get a Woobles kit.
Munchie Pals is another place to get crochet kits and I love Michelle’s cute ideas! Her little kits definitely make me love being Asian. For the price and for what you get, these are definitely a steal! I struggled with Moocha (the first kit I bought) not going to lie. The yarn is different from the Woobles’ Easy Peasy yarn and I have not experienced crocheting with yarn other than that and regular traditional yarn, so this yarn was harder to work with. The yarn is super soft and makes the cutest little plushies, though! I can’t wait until she makes more because I have 3 out of the 6 that she’s already released, two of which live in my car.

I love my holo. The amount of different creations you can make with doing your own nails is infinite. Even more with all the different types of nail polish you can get from Holo Taco. I only have Holo Taco nail polish. Simply is definitely someone that I’ve been inspired by. I’ve had Holo Taco nail polishes since she created the brand and I will stick by my Holo Taco nail polishes forever.
Honorable mention. They’re just so satisfying and therapeutic. They really get you in a flow state and I’ve done diamond painting crafts over the years and I love them. They’re easy ways to create something without thinking too much about creating something.
Just like diamond paintings, they get you into a flow state with low pressure of having to be creative to create something. My friend got me my first Dot-By-Letter book and I am so grateful that she did because I really enjoy completing a little bit of dots as part of a nighttime/wind down routine.
I’ve been working on the same kit for months now. The pieces are so tiny and so cute and I’m so very excited to have my own little mini creation. I enjoy the process of creating a few little pieces at a time and it’s another thing that’s pretty low pressure of creating because the instructions tell you what to do, you don’t have to come up the ideas for each piece, it’s just a bit more work than a diamond painting/dot-by-letter.
